My friend Shannon Woodward called me and she was on her way home with her friend Katy Perrywhom I had never met. I suggested they come to the house: ‘I’m roasting a chicken, come on’. And Katy Perry said to me: ‘This is the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Why don’t you come to the Grammy Awards party?‘ I went to the party, and I met my husband, who was her guitar player at the time“.
