Here is the foolproof technique for tenderizing meat
Good news! There are several ways to tenderize your meat and rather than limiting ourselves to one of them, we have decided to offer you our top 3.
1. Sprinkle the meat
With salt: Sprinkle both sides of the piece of meat and leave to rest for about an hour. Before cooking, it is important to remove the salt.
With cornstarch and/or baking soda: The advantage of cornstarch, in a marinade for example, is that it will help your sauce thicken (in addition to tenderizing your meat). In the case of baking soda, you will need to sprinkle the meat only and make sure to remove the baking soda completely before cooking the meat.

2. Hammer
There are different types of hammer for meat, some will pierce it more than others, go with your preference. In any case, pound your piece of meat over its entire surface for 1 minute or 2. In addition to having tender meat, it will absorb more of the flavors.

3. Marinate
Marinating your meat is always a great idea to give it maximum flavor. If you want to soften it as much as possible, it is preferable to go for a liquid marinade in which there must absolutely be an acidic ingredient. The latter will ensure that the muscle tissue present in your piece of meat is eliminated.
