Two cheerful cartoons to watch during the holidays
Linda wants chicken!
The story
Paulette unfairly punished her 8-year-old daughter, Linda. To be forgiven, she asks him to choose the lunch menu. It will be chicken with peppers, his deceased father’s favorite dish. Problem: it’s a general strike, all the stores are closed. A long journey begins for Linda and her mother.
1day1news liked :
– The surprising graphics: we recognize each character, drawn very simply, thanks to its unique color (yellow for Linda, orange for her mother…). As for the decorations, they have very few details. Enough to stimulate our imagination!
– The madness of the characters: whether it’s Linda, her aunt or this magician policeman, they are all incredibly funny and eccentric.
– His good humor: this animated film manages to deal with serious subjects (poverty, the bereavement of a parent) with a lot of lightness.
Trolls 3
The story
Branch has lost touch with his four brothers since he was a child. At the time, with his four brothers, he formed a famous boy band.
One day, he learns that one of them has been kidnapped by a couple of singers in search of fame. With Poppy, his lover, he sets out to look for her.
1day1news liked :
– Colors : they dance on the screen likea firework. Red, blue, pink, green… This animated film, where gags and chases follow one another, only seems more crazy.
– His message about family: if the story surprises less than those of the first two, it nevertheless nicely evokes the chance to be able to share moments between brothers and sisters. Even if we are different, and even if arguments sometimes break out. Very touching !
– The music : this animated film brings up to date old hits that your parents must have sung when they were younger, like We are Family Or Sweet Dreams. What to give us want to dance.
