The call for applications for the direction of the National Drama Center of Orléans (CDNO) was finally published, on October 17 in “Profil Culture”, then on October 20 in “La Lettre du spectacle”.
Ten months after the departure of Séverine Chavrier, on July 1 for the Comédie de Genève, and after a period of deep questioning and the fear of a possible disappearance, it is official “the Ministry of Culture, the General Directorate of artistic creation and the Drac Centre-Val de Loire, the Centre-Val de Loire Region and the City of Orléans are looking for an artist to lead the CDNO.

Interested people have until Sunday, November 12 to submit their application.
Six people preselected
Among them, six will be preselected according to a principle of gender parity. Those selected will then have to develop an artistic and cultural project and present it to a committee made up of representatives of the different partners.

A period which will be more or less long and the appointment of Séverine Chavrier’s successor should not take place before April 2024.
