The municipality of Jebsheim continues its innovations by offering a monthly market, which is held on the first Sunday of each month, from 9 a.m. to noon, rue du 1er Shock Battalion.
The mayor of Jebsheim, Joël Henny and all the elected officials are delighted with the success of “these small markets”, which attract the villagers, who are only too happy to be able to come by bike, to do the shopping and share a moment.
This Sunday 1er October, rue du 1er Bataillon-de-Choc was blocked from traffic for the occasion, allowing buyers to wander between the stands in complete safety. There was the market gardener Linda with her seasonal vegetables that grow on the village land, Malagasy specialties, a caterer with rougail sausages, chicken with vegetables, fritters etc., all simmering on site, honey with delicate flavors (fir, lime, acacia, flowers), jams prepared with fruits that grow in Muntzenheim, a butcher with a stand of fresh products, ready to cook or already prepared, goat cheeses, natural or flavored white cheese, yogurts, butter, a traveling wine sommelier from Saassenheim, offering wines from here and elsewhere and home workshops for private and special events, craft beers brewed in Obersaasheim, etc.
Next meeting Sunday November 5, from 9 a.m.
