Fall is coming and with it, squash season. These delicious vegetables are very rich in vitamins and have many benefits. They can be used in many recipes, especially in gratins or soups.

However, they are often difficult to cut, cook or peel. If you cook squash frequently, you know how they cook for a long time.

There are different ways to cope: do them pre-bake in the oven or even the cut into cubes and boil. But all this takes time.

So it’s not easy to cook squash for dinner when you’re short on time even though these vegetables are tasty and have important nutritional attributes.

If you have a microwave, you should try this amazing Marmiton hack to cook your squash in 10 minutes maximum.

How to do ?

Start by cutting your squash in half lengthwise. length.

Remove the seeds which you can save for another recipe.

Place the two squash halves on a plate with the flesh sitting on the plate.

Heat to microwave for 10 minutes.

If the squash is large or not soft enough after 10 minutes. Put it back in the microwave for 5 to 10 minutes.

You can then easily peel the skin off the squash and cut it. However, be sure to take into account the fact that your squash is already pre-cooked when creating your recipes. Then reduce the cooking of your gratin of a few minutes.
