First notes and first dances in Septembal

In the process, the first dancers let themselves be carried away by the tunes played by the Rivaud-Lacouchie duo at the opening of the Balôcharbon.

The first musical touches filled with complicity between the stage and the room. Start of a weekend punctuated by traditional music which promises to be both festive and joyful with tasty breaks for sharing and discovery.

On the program this Saturday, September 23? Hall of Master Ringers, at the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., discover the hurdy-gurdy, with Baptiste Poulet, hurdy-gurdy teacher at the Conservatory. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the media library, meet a duo, Et Zou! Alice Forges (hurdy-gurdy and singing) and Baptiste Poulet (hurdy-gurdy, accordion and bagpipes), two “children of traditional music”, will discuss their musical practice with the public. From 8:30 p.m., at Café Charbon, it’s time for the big ball.
