a great outpouring of generosity for Morocco

Secours populaire organized a couscous evening for the benefit of victims of the earthquake in Morocco on Friday.

“We have 65 registered, while there are numerous demonstrations in the town,” explains the director of Secours populaire. This is a great success resulting from an extraordinary outpouring of generosity from our volunteers and partners. This evening was born from the proposal of Leïla Parou, volunteer, of Moroccan origin. »

This couscous evening for the benefit of the victims of Morocco saw offers pour in: one hundred chicken legs offered by Chez Khalid from the butcher shop of 10-Arpents in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, vegetables and semolina by Carrefour Cap Saran, pastries by a beneficiary of the solidarity shop.

Burger King donated dishes and a big check. Saran town hall lent the village hall.

“We are impressed by everyone’s responsiveness and I hope that the donations continue,” concluded the director.
